Tara Geddes

Tara was named Chief Nursing Officer in January 2022. She serves on the leadership team and is responsible for managing and directing Floyd Valley Healthcare’s nursing care services.

She began her nursing career in 2001 after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Western Iowa Tech Community College, Sioux City, and in 2017 she earned her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Briar Cliff University. In addition to providing specialized care for surgical and oncology patients, she has held several leadership roles throughout her career including quality management and patient services at a federally qualified health center, hospice team manager and a medical manager. Tara joined Floyd Valley Healthcare in 2014 as the Community Health Manager, overseeing public health, home health services, and recently, vaccine outreach. Tara is also an adjunct faculty member at WITCC.

Tara and her husband, Scott, reside in Hinton with their five children, Delaney, Brooklyn Addyson, Chloey and Easton. In addition to enjoying their children’s numerous activities, she enjoys reading, baking and traveling.
