New Therapists Join Floyd Valley Therapies Staff

Floyd Valley Therapies announces the addition of Madison Hanson, OTD, OTR/L and Emily Reis, OTD, OTR/L. They all began their duties recently with Floyd Valley Therapies.
Madison completed her undergraduate degree in kinesiology at Iowa State University and her Doctor of Occupational Therapy at the University of South Dakota. She has a clinical background with pediatric and adult populations in the rural inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Madison has a special interest in infant and pediatric development. She enjoys exercising, golfing, baking, and spending time with loved ones. Madison and her husband, Jake, are excited to be welcoming their first child in December!
Emily completed her undergraduate degree in exercise physiology at Briar Cliff University and her Doctor of Occupational Therapy at the College of Saint Mary’s in Omaha NE. She has clinical experience in acute and skilled rehabilitation as well as therapy in community-based settings. Emily will be providing therapy in both the inpatient setting and through home health services. She enjoys working with older adults with stroke rehabilitation and supporting rehabilitation in activities of daily living. Emily enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Alison Vlieger, Occupational and Speech Therapy Manager, states, “We are excited to welcome Madison and Emily to the Floyd Valley Therapy team. The balance they will provide our department with interests ranging from newborns through adults will greatly benefit our patients and allow consistent and timely therapy coverage in our service area. We appreciate the fact we are a trusted therapy provider and continue to grow.”
