Cardiovascular disease remains the number one killer worldwide. During February, Floyd Valley Cardiac Services urges our communities to take a prevention mindset. While some risk factors for heart issues cannot be changed, there are a number of things you can do to help yourself!
You can help reduce your risk and improve your heart health my followings the ABCS:
A: Take an Aspirin as directed by your healthcare professional
B: Control your Blood pressure
C: Manage your Cholesterol
S: Don’t Smoke
In support of Heart Month, Floyd Valley Healthcare will be offering cholesterol and diabetic screenings the entire month of February.
Floyd Valley Clinics in Marcus: The entire month of February, Monday-Thursday.

Floyd Valley Clinic Lab (west entrance): The entire month of February, Monday-Friday.
Appointments are necessary by calling 712-546-3426.
Participants will receive a total blood cholesterol and a blood glucose test for $20.00. A 12-hour fast is required prior to testing, as is a 24-hour abstinence from alcohol. Results will be mailed to all participants.
