Floyd Valley Healthcare Announces New Neurology Outreach Clinic with CNOS, PC

Floyd Valley Healthcare, in partnership with CNOS, PC, announces that Maria Azpeitia, NP-C will begin providing a Neurology Clinic at Floyd Valley Healthcare beginning on March 7th. Her clinic will be held on the first Tuesday monthly. Maria’s clinics will focus on evaluations of migraines / headaches, strokes, dizziness, paresthesias/neuropathy, seizures and memory issues.  To make an appointment with Maria, please call (712) 546-3332.

Maria completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing / Family Practice at Morningside University in Sioux City, IA.  In her career, she has been a cardiology nurse in the Mercy Medical Center’s Post Critical Care Unit and an adjunct clinical instructor for Briar Cliff University. After obtaining her master’s degree, she gained experience in the Otolaryngology/ENT specialty with head and neck surgeons prior to transitioning to neurology. Maria is also fluent in Spanish, helping to enhance her practice and meet the needs of the community.

“I was born in California, but have called Sioux City home for most of my life.  I attended school at Morningside where I met my husband and we have been blessed with two children,” states Maria,  “I have enjoyed serving the medical needs of Siouxland for a number of years and am excited that I will be able to travel a bit north to Le Mars to continue and expand my practice.”
