Anyone can have high cholesterol — even if you’re active or thin, young or old. In fact, 1 in 5 people already do. Having high cholesterol may have as much to do with your genes as your food. So, even if you eat right and exercise, your cholesterol levels might still be high.

Your health and your heart may be at serious risk. The bottom line is that high cholesterol may lead to cardiovascular disease, which claims 1 life every 33 seconds. So don’t take chances, get checked!
