Maass Joins Floyd Valley Therapies Staff

Floyd Valley Therapies announces the addition of Megan Maass, DPT.  She began her duties this summer.  Her areas of special interest include helping patients with Parkinson’s, spinal cord injuries, stroke rehabilitation and neuromuscular and muscular therapy. 

Megan brings an excellent education and wide ranging clinical experience to Floyd Valley Healthcare.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the Northwestern College.  She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions in 2023.  Megan worked with pediatrics, women’s health, wound care, orthopedic and neuromuscular deficits in rural health settings while completing her education.

Troy Henrich, Floyd Valley Therapies manager states, “Megan has been a great addition to the department.  Returning home to be near her family and friends after completing her education was important in her decision to join our team.  She has demonstrated professionalism and great communication skills in treating patients with various conditions, whether it be orthopedic, stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s (LSVT Big program) or various other neuromuscular conditions.”

Megan enjoys golfing, cooking, baking, reading and spending time with friends and family.  Megan grew up in Remsen and is excited to provide care for the communities that she called home.
