New Management Roles Announced

Floyd Valley Healthcare CNO Tara Geddes announced recent staff promotions within Floyd Valley Healthcare.

Laura Weiler, RN, BSN will assume the role as Floyd Valley Community Health Manger on June 27th.  She will manage the daily operations of community health, home health and the public health functions of emergency preparedness, immunizations, communicable disease surveillance. 

Emily Sievers will be adding the management of Park Place Estates Assisted Living (PPE) to her current position of Patient Relations Manager at Floyd Valley Healthcare.  Her additional duties will begin on June 13th.  As PPE Manager, she will oversee the care and needs of residents that are housed in the 30 apartments.

“With recent staff changes, we saw an opportunity to better utilize internal skill sets to operate two important departments at Floyd Valley Healthcare.  Prior to moving to Park Place in January, Laura had been the Quality and Homemaker Coordinator in Community Health.  We are looking forward to the leadership she will bring back to that department.  Emily will share her 10 years of leadership experience in patient relations and a willingness to take on the new opportunities in serving this community.  With a degree in Community Health Education, she is excited to work with our residents. ”
